New Membership Fee Structure and Timings PDF Print E-mail

Following a change to ABA’s Constitution approved at the AGM in October, 2009, so that Section 13(b) now reads, “The Membership Year of the ABA Inc. shall commence on the 1 st. June and conclude on the 31 st. May each year” the National Management Committee approved new Membership Fee schedules, which are now listed on the Membership Form at the back of Archery Action and here on the web site. Previously, all Memberships were paid up to December 31 each year, so now Members have the option of paying a 5/12 ths. Fee to take them through to May 31, 2010 or a 17/12 ths. Fee to take them through to May 31, 2011, and thereafter a normal 12 month Membership Fee. The total fee costs have not changed, except to round off the figures.

The reasons for the change were twofold. One, the NMC have listened to comments that in the (previous) December/January period some families were struggling to find the money for Christmas, holidays, back to school costs, etc., so now finding a smaller amount to continue the ABA Membership for 5 months until 31/5/2010 will help.

The second reason, is to assist the Membership Secretary (and her Family!) at the busy Membership Renewal Fees time over Christmas/New Year.

The new fee structure for renewals and new members are listed below.

Current RENEWALS and/or Advance Memberships are due on 1/1/2010 When paying after 31/1/2010 these fees no longer apply. Refer to New Member Fee schedule
